Welcome to your introduction to the AVS-01 Alarm Validation Scoring Standard for Monitoring Center Operators. In January 2023, The Monitoring Association (or TMA) finalized its ANSI standard on alarm validation scoring, better known as AVS-01. This module explaining “What and Why” is the first in a series of online training modules that will help you understand the impact and tremendous benefits of the new standard for the professional monitoring industry and public safety community.
